Integration Speed and Acquisitions (M&A)

About this research:

Mergers and acquisitions (M&A) are a major expansion method for companies. However there are question marks about what influences overall performance. This survey focuses upon the speed of integration as a potential determinant of acquisition success. To date, there is little research on the topic and so this survey is designed to uncover post acquisition integration speeds across a wide range of companies, so links can be made between specific company circumstances, post integration speeds and improved acquisition performance.

How completing this survey will help you:

There are specific issues that research suggests are important in acquisition integration but are not widely known, such as factors affecting implementation speed. This survey will assess those factors, and the results will be available to you if you choose to add your contact details at the end.
All survey responses will be treated confidentially and the results will be aggregated so individual data cannot be identified. Please be aware that you answer this survey at your own risk if you disclose details that relate to a  confidentiality agreement you signed previously.

Some hints for filling out the survey:

  • If you had a senior role in your company at the time of the deal i.e. top management team, departmental/functional head, integration manager etc.
